If you're a grill enthusiast, you've likely heard about the Big Green Egg grill. It is a ceramic bbq grill that can be used as a grill, smoker and also an outdoor oven. It's also safer, particularly if there are young children running around, because the ceramic material stays much cooler than traditional metal grills plus you always cook with the lid down, which means you never have to worry about flare-ups.

There are numerous other differences however among my favorites is the number of fans the big green egg cooker has. You will discover Egg supporters and gatherings throughout the united states, and Eggheads are always excited to share their stories, tips and recipes at events as well as on the Egghead discussion board. I can't think of any other grill that has this kind of following.

I will admit, the Egg does have some disadvantages in comparison with other bbq grills. For example, it's not a cheap barbeque grill. You could spend about $700 for a large Big Green Egg.
